Become a Wellness Recovery Therapist

The beautician is one of the most important tools for the prevention of oncological and degenerative diseases as he is a professional figure who, in addition to gaining the confidence and trust of the
people, has the opportunity to observe them in every part of the body.
From statistical surveys, on the national territory, it emerges that over 100 thousand workers operate in the sector, which, after the professionalizing course we will call Wellness Recovery Therapist , who should not replace the doctor but suggest and sensitize the client to carry out specialist investigations if they detect anomalies (moles, spots, nodules, etc.).

The project analyses and develops the activities in two phases:

  • Prevention (investigation)
  • Application (aesthetic treatments for cancer patients)

and in three moments:

  • Before surgery
  • During the therapies (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc.)
  • After the leave (temporary or permanent) with particular reference to post-operative scars

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission requirements for our Training Projects:

  • Age of majority;
  • Good education, comparable, at least, to a secondary school level;
  • Computer skills;
  • Orderly presence;
  • Three-year Diploma in Professional Aesthetics;
  • Knowledge of English (preferred).

Alternatively, to the Aesthetics Diploma:

  • Degree in Cosmetology;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy;
  • Three-year degrees from the faculties of Pharmacy – Medicine and Surgery;
  • Other operators in the social-health sector (non-doctors).
